Dr Marcin Korytkowski

Prof. of Częstochowa University of Technology

He specializes in research on intelligent understanding and processing of large data sets and focuses on methods of computational intelligence, CBIR, exploration of large data sets so-called data mining and machine learning algorithms, optimization of databases and information storage. He is the author of nearly 80 scientific papers and articles. As a manager or contractor, he has participated in numerous national and international projects. He was the manager of a project funded by the National Science Center entitled. "Innovative Methods for Searching and Indexing Multimedia Data Using Computational Intelligence Techniques". He was the originator and author of the concept of a project worth more than 12 million PLN entitled "E-leader as an opportunity to counteract digital exclusion for the residents of the municipalities of Moszczenica, Ujazd, Będków, Czarnocin", contractor in the project "New perspectives on intelligent multimedia management with applications in medicine and privacy protecting systems" carried out and financed under the Polish-Swiss Research Program PSPB. Currently, he is responsible on behalf of the leader of a consortium of local governments for the implementation of the project entitled "Municipality Closer to Residents," whose main objective is the broadly understood digitization of municipalities from the construction of fiber optic networks to the implementation of EZD PUW systems. He also provides technical and organizational support for the construction of a data processing center as part of the Moszczenickie Tereny Inwestycyjne project.
