Dr Marek Warzecha, prof. of MSc

Vice-rector for development, Czestochowa University of Technology

Marek Warzecha, Ph.D., Prof. of MSc, serves as Vice-Rector for Development at Częstochowa University of Technology. Previously, he served as Vice Dean for Innovation and Development of the Faculty of Production Engineering and Materials Technology from 2016 to 2020, and as Director of the Technology Transfer Center of Częstochowa University of Technology from 2020 to 2023.
His research interests are in the problems of metal fabrication and recycling and hot-dip galvanizing. In this thematic area, he has published nearly 150 papers and carried out more than a dozen research and development projects. During his career, he held research and teaching internships at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium and the Groupe Belge du College Europeen de Technologie in France. From 2007 to 2010, he was a research and teaching fellow at RWTH Aachen University of Technology in Germany. He has also worked in industry, including as a technology consultant and R&D manager.
