Graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology, Faculty of Fundamental Technological Research, specialisation: Biomedical Engineering. Many years of education in France at Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, in the field of molecular methods used in the process of creating new drugs. Habilitated at the Silesian University of Technology in the field of modern numerical methods in broadly defined Biomedical Engineering. Specialist in the use of artificial intelligence methods in medicine and physician support. Manager of numerous scientific projects at home and abroad in the field of cancer treatment, antibiotic-resistant infections, metabolic diseases and rare diseases. Repeatedly awarded for his innovative achievements at national and international forums. Winner of the Polish Intelligent Development Award 2019 in the category Scientist of the Future for the implementation of the INNOSEPT project. In 2017, he won first place in the Science category of the city's "Generation W" competition, which awards projects that bring positive changes in various spheres of life for the citizens of Wrocław. He is the author of 43 scientific publications from the Philadelphia list in the field of numerical modelling of biological objects, guided drug delivery vehicles and broad biomedical engineering and bioinformatics including machine learning and AI methods. His work has been published over 700 times. Currently a professor at Wroclaw University of Technology teaching Biomedical Engineering students and at the newly established Faculty of Medicine. At Advanced Health Dynamics Sp. z o.o., he and his team commercially implement IT and mobile solutions for Primary Care and hospitals to streamline diagnostic processes and optimise physician time. Locally, he is involved in education and promotion of preventive healthcare as part of health promotion.
