Plenipotentiary of the Director of POLATOM Radioisotope Centre for Scientific Affairs and National and International Cooperation, National Centre for Nuclear Research

Prof. Renata Mikołajczak, M.Sc. Renata Mikołajczak, Ph.D., is the POLATOM Radioisotope Centre Director's Plenipotentiary for Scientific Affairs and National and International Cooperation at the National Centre for Nuclear Research.

She specialises in issues related to obtaining radioisotopes for medical applications, designing radiopharmaceuticals for molecular imaging and therapy of e.g. cancer diseases, and their implementation in medical practice. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of radiopharmacy.

Professor Mikołajczak is a leader in national and European research and infrastructure projects. Her knowledge and organisational skills are recognised abroad - she has been the head of one of the working groups of the European Pharmacopoeia Commission since 2020.

She is also socially active - on the advisory committee of the Forum for Women in Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, spreading awareness of the role and opportunities for women in the nuclear sector.
