Born in 1951 in Warsaw. Graduate of the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw. D. in biochemistry, professor of medical sciences (discipline of medical biology) awarded in 2002. Founder and until 2022 Head of the Department of Experimental Pharmacology at the M. Mossakowski Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Co-author or author of more than 200 papers published in international journals, supervisor of 8 dissertations concluded with the award of a PhD degree, co-inventor of 8 patents in the field of medicine and pharmacy.
