Currently chairing the work of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. Responsible on behalf of the Parliament for the regulation on security of gas supply to Europe. Awarded the Order of the White Eagle for his contribution to Poland's democratic transformation, scientific achievements and political accomplishments in Poland and internationally.
