Professor at the Białystok University of Technology, graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Białystok University of Technology. He obtained the title of doctor of technical sciences at his alma mater in the field of mechanical engineering and operation. In 2013, he was awarded a postdoctoral degree in the discipline of biocybernetics and biomedical engineering at the Faculty of Mechatronics of the Warsaw University of Technology.

In his scientific work, he is involved in research in biomechanics and biomedical engineering. He cooperates with numerous clinical centres and entrepreneurs in the field of implants and equipment for surgery and orthopaedics. He organised the Laboratory of Instrumental Diagnostics of the Musculoskeletal System at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bialystok University of Technology and supervises its operation.

Member of the European Society of Biomechanics. He has been involved with the Polish Society of Biomechanics for many years, a member of its Board since 2012, currently Vice President and from 2016-2020 President of the Board.
