Prof. Dr. Lidia Dzierzbicka-Glowacka employee of the Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot, Head of the Laboratory of Ecohydrodynamic Processes Modeling, mathematician, programmer, specialist in numerical programming of biological and chemical processes occurring in the marine and natural environment. Recipient of many scientific awards, including the Award of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2020 for the application of mathematical models and computer simulations as new methods of recognizing processes occurring in the marine environment. Author/co-author of more than 90 scientific publications in science and life sciences. Co-author of a patent for the invention "Integrated system for assessing the condition of the environment, especially the waters of restricted bodies of water, from environmental biochemical forcing". Manager and/or principal investigator of many scientific and R&D projects. Topics of current research include numerical work in the fields of agriculture, fisheries and marine management, within the framework of implementation projects: WaterPUCK, FindFish and CSI-POM, of which he is the creator and coordinator.
