Polish lawyer and politician, lawyer, former voivode of Bialsko-Podlaskie, from 2004 to 2009 member of the European Parliament of the 6th term
In 1983 he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, and in 1986 from the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of this university.
From May 1998 to September 2000, he was president of the management board of Ruch, and in 2000–2001, vice-president of the Military Property Agency. Then, together with Lidia Bagińska, he opened his own law firm in Warsaw.
From December 23, 1997 to December 31, 1998, he held the position of voivode of Bialsko-Podlaskie.
In 2003, he became a legal advisor and then a member of Self-Defense of the Republic of Poland. In the elections to the European Parliament in 2004, after receiving 43,609 votes, he won the seat of deputy from her list in the Masovian constituency. He worked in the Legal Affairs Committee of the European Parliament. Initially, he remained unaffiliated, then he joined the Union for a Europe of Nations faction. He was a member of the election committee of Andrzej Lepper as a candidate in the 2005 presidential elections
Already as a non-partisan, in the 2019 elections he opened the list of candidates of the Nonpartisan Coalition and Self-Government Coalition to the Sejm in the Siedlce district. Then he worked in the True Europe Movement, serving as the party's press spokesman and lawyer. In 2023, he co-founded the Polish Unity Movement party, becoming its vice-president
