Jacek Giedrojć has been involved in investment activities in Poland since 1992. Initially, he specialized in privatization projects and management buyouts. After 1999, he was involved in, among other things, the restructuring of the portfolio of distressed assets acquired from Elektrim S.A. and investments in technology companies in the early stages of development. He served as Group president until 2006. He is currently in charge of the Group's strategy and remains involved in the development and management of its portfolio by overseeing investment processes and evaluating and approving individual projects. Prior to founding WEG, he gained professional experience working as an auditor, consultant and in public administration in Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Jacek holds a PhD in sociology (Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences), an MBA (Harvard University) and a degree in economics (Victoria University of Wellington).
