Specialist in paediatrics and paediatric gastroenterology. Her professional interests include diet-related diseases such as food allergy, feeding difficulties, nutritional disorders and functional abdominal pain in children. For the past 15 years, she has headed the nutrition team at the Department of Paediatrics at the Medical University of Warsaw. For the last 10 years, she has chaired the Food Allergy Section of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Child Nutrition.

Dr Horvath is recognised for her commitment to evidence-based medicine. She developed her professional career under the guidance of Prof. Hanna Szajewska. She has authored numerous scientific publications and co-authored national and international guidelines on child nutrition and allergies. She directs grant 2023/ABM/01/00037 - 00 on early infant supplementation in the prevention of milk allergy.
