Dr Ewelina Depczyńska
Ewelina Depczynska graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, receiving her master's degree in 2004. Then in 2008 she defended her engineering thesis at the Faculty of Chemistry of Wrocław University of Technology, specializing in Pro-ecological Chemical Technologies. In February 2022, she received her PhD from the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. From 2015 to 2022, she co-authored 4 original creative works published in reputable scientific journals and authored 8 papers presented at national and international scientific conferences.
Since March 2007, she has worked in the R&D area at Tikkurila Poland and Acrylmed developing and implementing numerous products for wood protection and bonding. Since 2019, she has worked at Paged LabTech as R&D director. The team has implemented Paged products such as Paged GreenPly, Paged DryGuard and MouldGuard, among others.
Her professional work has always been closely related to wood technology. Noteworthy are the following projects implemented by her and co-financed by NCRD:
- "Innovative composite materials for use in road transportation".
- "Development of innovative frame furniture made of beech wood with high resistance to external influences".
- "Low-emission plywood for use in the furniture industry".
and a project co-financed by the Ministry of Investment and Development: "Establishment of the Paged LabTech research and development center to develop innovative wood-based panels".
