She received, among others: START scholarship from the Foundation for Polish Science, minister's scholarship for outstanding young scientists, Dekaban-Liddle Senior Fellowship.

She completed study visits, among others: at Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad Pablo de Olavide en Sevilla, Universidad de Huelva, RWI Berlin, University of Glasgow.

He deals with labor economics (in particular the evaluation of passive labor market policy instruments) and the economics of crime.
