Dr Eng Tomasz Zieliński

President of the Board, Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry

Since June 2013, he has headed the most important institution representing the chemical sector in Poland at the national and international forum.
An expert in the chemical sector with many years of experience in managerial positions. He built his professional experience, among others, in the most important companies in the chemical and petrochemical sector in Poland and Central Europe and in the consulting sector. He has represented the interests of the domestic chemical industry at home and abroad for more than a dozen years and sits on the boards of numerous national and international business and industry organizations.
He is currently a member of the National Association Board (NAB) of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), where he represents 7 countries in the Central European Cluster (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria Croatia). He sits on the Board of Directors of the European Chemical Employers Group (ECEG), as well as the Advisory Board, of the World Refining Association.
He is also a member of the Presidium of the Committee on Chemistry at the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as the Presidium of the Council and Committee on Climate and Energy Policy at the National Chamber of Commerce.
Member of supervisory boards of companies at home and abroad. Member of economic, program and scientific councils and industry associations. Knight of the T. Sendzimir Honorary Medal for special contributions to the innovation movement in Poland, awarded the Gold Honorary Badge of the Federation of NOT Scientific and Technical Associations. Author of numerous scientific and popular science publications and conference speeches.
Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of chemical technology. Graduate of Chemical Technology at the Faculty of Construction, Mechanics and Petrochemistry in Plock, Warsaw University of Technology and Postgraduate Studies in Financial Management and Marketing at Warsaw University of Technology. In addition, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the PL program and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champion. He completed the Strategic Business Management Program at Harvard University Extension School.
