Dr. Edyta Malinowska-Pańczyk

Dr.-Ing. Edyta Malinowska-Pańczyk, Prof. of the University in 2000 graduated from the Faculty of Food Sciences and Nutrition of the Poznań University of Life Sciences, and in 2006 she defended her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Gdansk University of Technology. She obtained her postdoctoral degree in agricultural sciences in the discipline of food and nutrition technology in 2018. Her scientific interests are in unconventional methods of food preservation and processing, including primarily the use of high pressure for this purpose. She has authored dozens of scientific publications in journals in the JCR database and chapters in national and international textbooks and co-authored national patents. She led a project funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. She is currently implementing a project funded by the Norwegian Funds. She is a member of the Board of the Polish Society of Food Technologists (PTTŻ) and President of the Gdansk Branch of PTTŻ.
