Dr. Dominika Grygier, Prof. of the university

Dominika Grygier is a specialist in biomedical engineering. In her scientific and research work, Dominika Grygier, Ph.D., mainly deals with issues in materials engineering, metallurgy and biomaterials. Dominika Grygier holds the position of university professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Wroclaw University of Technology. She defended her dissertation with a specialization in materials science, biomechanics under the title "Influence of selected properties of silica surface layers on their applicability as coatings for coronary stents." In 2018, she received a postdoctoral degree in the discipline of mechanical engineering and operation. She has twice been a participant in a foreign internship at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Institut für Werkstoffkunde. She has authored and co-authored̨ more than a hundred scientific papers domestically and abroad. In addition, she is co-author of three patents: "Intravascular coronary stent" (Exclusive right number: 210204), "Intravascular coronary stent" (Exclusive right number: 210205), "Dynamic intramedullary nail enabling angle correction" (Exclusive right number: 237952). Since January 2020, he has served as deputy head of the Department of Vehicle Engineering at the Wroclaw University of Technology. Since April 2019, he has been President of Orthoget Company He has experience as R&D manager in projects: "Intramedullary nail for active lengthening of long bones" POIR 1.3.1, "External testing - Fractured FCA". 16/4102/0030/21, "Hybrid intramedullary nail with magneto-mechanical drive for human long bone lengthening" POIR.01.01.01-00-0246/21.
