Beata Kaczmarek-Szczepańska received her PhD in chemistry from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 2019.

She works at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in the Department of Biomaterials and Cosmetics Chemistry. Her scientific activities are mainly focused on polymeric materials and cosmetics. For several years, she has been interested in developing new solutions dedicated to biomaterials. She has led several projects and is currently conducting research related to the isolation of natural compounds from fish skins. Her passions are travelling and reading books. She cannot imagine a day without a good cup of coffee.
