Dr. Alicja Kowalczyk

Assistant Professor, Wroclaw University of Life Sciences, Verus Association of Animal Breeders and Producers of the Agricultural and Food Sector

Researcher professionally affiliated with Wroclaw University of Life Sciences (UPWr) specializing in animal reproduction medicine. Dr. Kowalczyk conducts her scientific activities both at the Department of Environmental Hygiene and Animal Welfare analyzing factors affecting the biology of animal reproduction and welfare during reproductive use and at the Malopolska Biotech Center in Krasne, where, leading her scientific team, she conducts research on the elucidation of the mechanisms of occurrence of biochemical changes in germ cells undergoing cryopreservation and the possibilities of regulating the degree of their cryopotential. He is a member of the Scientific Council for Animal Welfare and Zoohygiene and a member of the Scientific Council for Nutrition and Human Development at the Association of Animal Breeders and Producers of the Agricultural and Food Sector - VERUS Association. Dr. Alicja Kowalczyk also serves as a supporting member at CISAS - Center for Research and Development in Agrifood Systems and Sustainability in Portugal.
