Dr Dagmara Stefańska, Professor at the Institute
Dagmara Stefańska received her PhD in chemistry in 2017 and her postdoctoral degree in 2023 in the discipline of chemistry at the Institute of Low Temperatures and Structural Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław. At the beginning of 2024, she took up the position of Professor at the same Unit.
Her research activities focus on the design and preparation of new luminescent materials for use in LED lighting, non-contact optical thermometry and photovoltaics. She conducts research on both inorganic materials and hybrid organic-inorganic compounds with perovskite structures. She is currently the manager of two research projects, i.e. SONATA and LIDER, funded by NCN and NCBiR respectively. Winner of the prestigious Scholarship of the Minister of Education and Science for Outstanding Young Scientists.
