Ilona Jastrzębska graduated with honors in 2012, majoring in Chemical Technology, at the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Prof. Natalia Marek-Trzonkowska, PhD, is director of the International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Sciences (ICCVS) at the University of Gdansk. Her research focuses on the clinical application of immune cells. Among other things, she is the co-inventor of the first use of regulatory T cells (Treg) in the treatment of type 1 diabetes in children, co-founder of PolTREG S.A. and author of international patents on ways to produce cells for therapeutic purposes. The researcher's interdisciplinary profile, combining chemistry, physics, and mathematics with applied computer science, allows her to conduct fundamental research that has wide-ranging practical applications in economics and business, while also contributing to environmental protection. Prof. Krzysztof T. Wojciechowski, Ph.D., is an employee of the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Ceramics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow. He is the founder and head of the Thermoelectric Technology Laboratory of the AGH Energy Center. He has been working on the subject of thermoelectric materials and devices for more than 20 years. He has co-authored more than 90 publications in scientific journals, about 300 scientific presentations and more than 20 invited conference presentations in this area.
Prof. Wojciechowski and his team are widely active in R&D and implementation of thermoelectric technologies. Dr. Artur Kasprzak, Eng. is a researcher working at the Department of Chemistry, Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). His main areas of interest are organic chemistry and materials chemistry. He is the author of many new compounds and materials dedicated to environmental monitoring. His latest discovery is a magnetic material that can act as an effective cesium adsorbent, i.e., a material by which cesium can be removed from the environment. This material was developed as part of his "Materials Technologies" grant under the Research University Excellence Initiative program at PW. Justyna Kucińska-Lipka, Ph.D., professor at the university, is an employee of the Department of Polymer Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, PG. She was awarded the title of Doctor of Science in Chemical Technology by a resolution of the Council of the PG Chemical Faculty on 12. 12. 2007, and on 12 .09. 2018 by a resolution of the same Council she was awarded the title of Doctor of Science in Chemical Technology. In that year she was also promoted to the position of professor of the University. Since the beginning of her research career, she has been involved in the synthesis, modification and characterization of polyurethanes with applications in medicine and additive technologies (3D printing). Her current research focuses on additive technologies applicable to the fabrication of both hybrid small-molecule release systems as components of dressing layers and degradable systems with applications in otolaryngology, among others. Bartłomiej Wysocki, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Multidisciplinary Research Centre of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, where he manages the 3D Printing Laboratory and deals with the transfer of research results obtained to industry. He is the author of dozens of international articles and holds numerous granted patents and implementations concerning metal and plastic incremental technologies. Dr Anna Sobiepanek's area of scientific interest is the application of modern biophysical and biomolecular methods to characterise the changes occurring in skin cells as a result of physiological processes, as well as the progression of various disease entities including skin cancer. To this end, a better understanding of cell glycosylation as one of the most important post-translational processes occurring in cells is essential. Due to the structural diversity of glycans, numerous processes such as proliferation, migration and cell-cell contact are possible.
In 2020, Anna Sobiepanek was awarded second place in the doctoral thesis category in the area of 'Innovations implemented into the economy' in the competition for the best thesis, organised by the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Dr Sobiepanek has experience in managing as many as five projects from various funding sources (e.g. NCN, IDUB, PW). She has also been awarded numerous grants including NCN, COST action, PW and is co-author of 18 scientific articles and 9 chapters in monographs.

Prof. Ada Yonath izraelska krystalograf. Studiowała na Uniwersytecie Hebrajskim w Jerozolimie, gdzie uzyskała bakalaureat w 1962 roku oraz tytuł magistra biochemii w 1964. Stopień doktora uzyskała w 1968 roku w Instytucie Naukowym Weizmana, jej praca doktorska dotyczyła krystalografii. Odbyła staże podoktorskie w Carnegie Mellon University (1969) oraz MIT (1970). Badania Jonath koncentrują się na mechanizmach molekularnych biosyntezy białek. Wyznaczyła ona z dużą rozdzielczością struktury krystaliczne jednostek rybosomów. W 2007 otrzymała Nagrodę Wolfa w dziedzinie chemii, w 2009 Nagrodę Nobla w dziedzinie chemii za badania nad strukturą i funkcją rybosomów (wspólnie z Venkatramanem Ramakrishnanem i Thomasem Steitzem). Laureatka Medalu PTChem im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie, doktor honoris causa Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Łodzi.
Israeli-Arab scientist and engineer, pioneer known for inventing the Nano Artificial Nose (NA-NOSE)
Prof. Hossam Haick jest izraelsko-arabskim naukowcem i inżynierem oraz aktualnym dziekanem studiów licencjackich w Israel Institute of Technology, urodzonym w 1975 roku. Jest pionierem znanym z wynalezienia Nano Sztucznego Nosa (NA-NOSE) do wykrywania chorób wydychanym powietrzu, (dzięki czemu został wyróżniony jako innowator MIT poniżej 35 lat), który jest szeroko stosowany do wykrywania biomarkerów chorób w laboratoriach i przemyśle. Prowadzi wiele wkładów w interdyscyplinarnych dziedzinach, takich jak nanotechnologia, nanoczujniki, lotne biomarkery i elektronika molekularna.

Prof. Marian Gorynia Polish economist, professor and former rector of the Poznan University of Economics. Since 2019, deputy chairman of the Council for Scientific Excellence. He is Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Polish Economic Society and a member of the Committee of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is on the Boards and Editorial Committees of numerous specialized economic journals. In addition, he is a member of the Poznań Society of Friends of Science, the Scientific Society of Organization and Management, the Academy of International Business, the European International Business Academy, and the International Management Development Association. He has received honorary doctorates from the University of Bialystok and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
